About the Order
The full title of the Order is The Masonic and Military Order of the Red Cross of Constantine and the Orders of the Holy Sepulchre and of St John the Evangelist.
The first part of this Christian Order is based on the story of the conversion to Christianity of the the Roman Emperor Constantine. The second part comprises the Orders of the Knights of the Holy Sepulchre and St. John the Evangelist where a Christian interpretation of the ultimate aims of Freemasonry is revealed. These latter ceremonies, together with the two Installation ceremonies leading to the principal Chairs in the Red Cross of Constantine, are among the most impressive ceremonies in the whole of Freemasonry.
The Governing body of the Order is the Grand Conclave and the Grand Sovereign is M.Ill.Kt. Graham L Flight GCC.
Ronald A Champion Conclave
The Conclave was founded on 9th May 2006. It was named for the then Grand Sovereign of the the Order, the late M Ill Kt Ronald Albert Champion GCC.
The Enthronement of the new Sovereign and Consecration of the new Viceroy takes place at the May meeting while new Knight Companions of the Order are usually Installed at the October meeting. Every few years we work the massive ceremonial of the Appendant Orders of Knight of the Holy Sepulchre and Knight of St John the Evangelist.
